Launch of newest safety campaign
Maidstone launches
A
new safety campaign was launched in Maidstone on the 9th March to
help reduce the high numbers of young people hurt on the town’s roads. Kent
Highway Services has launched ‘Ghostlids’, a new real-life safety campaign
targeting young motorcyclists aged 16- 19 years old.
The
town was chosen to launch the campaign as it has the joint highest number
of 16-19 year olds hurt in motorcycle crashes in Kent, plus some of the county’s
